Skippy’s Grille & Cantina is 100% family owned and operated.
It all started with a deep-sea fishing trip off the coast of California. Friends and family aboard the ship had vast downtime during the hunt for the mighty tuna.
Tom Estabrook a long time restauranteur had a discussion with the previous owner of Skippy’s Grille & Cantina who confessed his strife of owning a restaurant in Queen Creek, Arizona. Eventually, Tom and wife Jo offered to purchase the restaurant along with their friend Andy. They captained the restaurant in 2007.
In 2015 Andy wanted to pursue other endeavors so Tom convinced his children to purchase Andy’s share. Angie and Chris agreed to this wild idea and it’s been going strong ever since!
